CloudLux stared quietly at the ground, his guilty thoughts full of his sister. AshClan, he missed his sister. The tomcat suddenly bashed his head against the ground, grinding his teeth. Uuurghh! Why was his life so complicated? Lux inhaled deeply through his nose, kneading his teeth gently into his tail. Was his loyalty stronger to his sister or Cloud? His sister hated him, thought him as the traitor. He was, although he would never admit it for his pride. It was practically her fault he followed Cloud. The big argument they had before Cloud decided to turn on OakClan had been left alone. No one to repair the old ties they once had. Oh, AshClan, why was everything so complicated?! The thought continued to run through his guilty, traitorous mind.

Cloud walked through the forest, keeping alert. OakClan could easily attack at any day for revenge and he wasn't going to be taken down. Lumiere was being a bit of a burden, but Cloud put her in her place and claimed his dominance, though it wouldn't last forever. That's why he had to talk to Lux, to further his plans. Lux was currently the only cat Cloud could trust, he knew Koori wouldn't like him after he made Lumiere give her a beating. Before long the familiar pelt of Lux was seen. "Lux!" Cloud called.

"Lux!" Lux jumped horribly at Cloud's voice, an unfamiliar feeling in him. His stomach was in knots, the pressure on his chest overbearing, his pupils dilated to pinpricks, his tail in full-out bottlebrush. His heart nearly leaped out of his throat, thudding erratically. Lux staunched the unfamiliar feeling of fright, squashing down his feelings to study Cloud further.
" To the stars, Cloud! You gave me a freaking heart attack! " Lux exclaimed fervently, hoping his rapid speech wouldn't expose him to guilty thoughts about his sister. " 'Sides, er.. d'ya want something? "

Cloud raised an eyebrow at how tense Lux was. "Take a seat, Lux." He mewed. "I have something that I really need to discuss with you, it needs to stay off the record." Cloud looked around to make sure no one was there. "No one may know of this meeting." Cloud signaled with his tail for Lux to follow and then he began to walk away. Moving swiftly through the territory, they soon came upon the unknown territory that was past WolfClan's border. Taking a breath and passed the scent line, hoping Lux was still with him. Before long they came upon a cave and Cloud went in and took a seat, waiting for Lux.

Lux frowned at his leader, feeling like a huge weight was being dropped on to his shoulder. What was going on with the fearless leader he knew? Plus.. why was the meeting so secretive only he could hear? Where was Lumiere or Koori?
Following his leader into unknown territory, he ignored the crawling feeling of dread creeping up his spine. The tomcat followed his leader into a cave, blinking at the sudden darkness and the creeping, crawling cold.
" ..so you wanted to talk? "

"Trust is low in WolfClan." Cloud muttered. "I don't trust Lumiere, though I cannot remove her from power without having rebellion." Cloud dug his claws into the dirt. "I will be able to have full power once WolfClan is at full strength, however. Lux, you are now an important part of my plans. I have something to ask of you... One day, I plan on invading HollyClan. Once HollyClan is seized, I want to place their camp under your control. This will surely provoke Lumiere without doing anything to risk rebellion. I do trust you more than her, however. Don't ruin my trust Lux. You may be second in command one day."

Lux listened with curious eyes, before his face curiously went void of all emotions. " Once HollyClan is seized, you want me to control their camp. All right. I will do my best. " Lux mewed instantly, with a toneless voice. Then he eyed Cloud curiously. " Why me though? Surely you could ask Slate or Koori. The only question I have is why me. "

"Koori is not ready to do something like this." Cloud explained. "Besides, I have to make sure she is still loyal after the fight between her and Lumiere. I also need to make sure that whoever is in charge of the camp would have a chance against Lumiere in combat in case she defected, Koori was practically beaten to death. She stands no chance against her. As for Slate, I haven't ever even met them so there isn't any trust and you are on the council. Also, I have one more thing to ask of you. I am going to eventually have a council meeting where I'm going to ask to demolish the entire council system and give their powers to me. If you vote in favor of this and help me make that happen, I can promise you that you will have a great future in power. I may even let you keep HollyClan once this is all over."

Lux glanced at Cloud warily. " All right.. As long as it's for the greater good. " he mewed solemnly, attempting to look Cloud straight in the eye. He breathed deeply, his expression neutral as he considered the options Cloud held in store for him. At this moment in time, and for now, Cloud held the future in his paws.

Cloud gave Lux a single nod and gave an evil smile. "For the greater good of WolfClan." Cloud stood to his paws and walked to the entrance and looked out at the sky. "You are helping me achieve great things Lux, your efforts will be noted. I do have one more thing to ask of you, however. I need you to train hard Lux. I need you to train very hard, because, once HollyClan is ours, I need you to kill Lumiere. She cannot be trusted, if we leave her to do as she pleases she will destroy WolfClan and every cat in it."

Lux smirked in amusement at the evil smile. Shaking out his fur, the tomcat stood and watched Cloud raise his head to the stars. " I will train the best I can.. and when we take HollyClan, I will kill Lumiere and every rebellious thought that crosses her mind. Plus, I really don't swing her way. " he mewed, a dark thought crossing his mind as he thought about killing. He hated killing, but he would be an assassin if there needed to be one.

"Very good." Cloud mewed. "This meeting is over. We will never speak of this again, not until Lumiere is eliminated." He nodded to Lux and led him out of the cave and began his walk back to camp. "Don't fail me Lux." He mewed. "I don't want to have to take care of Lumiere myself, if you know what I mean. Watch her in battle training, figure out her weaknesses. You must not make any mistakes, there will not be a second chance at this." Cloud soon found that they were back at their own territory, he crossed the scent line, making sure there was no one around. "Now go catch some prey so we can say we were hunting."
